Carole
Jean Bertsch has always been a passionate multi-media visual artist,
with never a dull reproduction of the ordinary. Born in 1953, she holds
a MFA degree combined with years of college teaching, workshops and
individual art instruction. Her diverse work has been exhibited and
collected in the USA, Mexico and Europe. She is well known and critiqued
for her haunting sepia-toned hand colored photographs of women and
children. Other talents include her whimsical and colorful monotypes,
collages, dolls and unique jewelry. Vigorously prolific with any medium
she explores, her intentional atmosphere of "let"s pretend" continues
to permeate her most recent fascination with paint on canvas |
