Richard
Terrill
Richard Terrill came to painting perhaps for some conventional reasons,
: a love of looking , a method of expression, but the main reason Richard
turned to painting was the result of a dream/vision he had after a
friend died. In the dream the friend gave RIchard some of the usual
advice the other side gives, but Richard was more taken by the beautiful
paintings on the wall of the room where the dream was set; his desire
to recreate that experience was the true motivation for his need to
paint. Since a friend took his drawings and doodles to the American
Visionary Art Museum in 1997, Richard has shown, sold, and given seminars/lectures
there. His paintings hang in venues as varied as the student/bohemian
garretts of Baltimore to a side-by-side showing with a Picasso original
in the Deco mansion of a Florida millionaire.
