Artist Statement:
A rediscovery of the endless possibilities of life is the driving force behind my work. Using acrylic and ink, I create textural atmospheres inspired by the beauty, harmony, and dissonance of the cosmos as well as by the emotions that shape my experience of the world.

I use an original process borrowed from batik that ensconces inked images in a sea of color and texture that shift with the light. When I go through this process, it becomes all about trusting grace, instinct, and the work itself to illuminate the next step.
